LESSON RULES/REGS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

1. Lessons last about 1 hour . In the beginning, some of the time will be spent on the ground learning how to properly care for and tack your horse. All horsemanship learned is based off of the United States Pony Club organization. We do not just teach you how to ride; we teach you how to be a quality horse person.
2. Shoes or boots with a hard toe and heel must be worn (NO sneakers).
3. Long Pants (NO shorts, only if wearing or bringing half chaps)
4. Helmets must be worn. It is better to bring your own, but we have a variety of sizes to borrow.
5. Arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled lesson time to allow time to catch and groom your horse, unless this is a part of your lesson to learn these tasks.
6. If you are late, it cuts into your time of the lesson.
7. It is required to give at least 24-hour notice of any cancellations or you will be charged the full price of a lesson.
8. Allow time after your lesson for cool down and putting away your horse and equipment.
9. No running in or around the barn.
10. We are not responsible for students after their lesson is over.
11. Call ahead if the weather is questionable.
12. All payment is non refundable.
13. The instructor reserves the right to limit lesson time due to lack of concentration, stamina or weather conditions.
14. Friends and family are welcome, but leave the instructing to the instructor.
15. All tack (bridle and saddle) used must be wiped off or cleaned after each lesson
